Adult Training
Whether you're completely new to sailing or have some experience, we offer structured RYA training for adults on the beautiful Fowey estuary. Our professional, RYAqualified instructors deliver a blend of onwater sessions and shoreside activities, adapted for weather and group needs.
RYA Level 1 Start Sailing - Perfect for beginners, this course teaches you the basics of dinghy sailing: setting up a boat, sailing in light winds and understanding safety on the water.
RYA Level 2 Basic Skills - Build confidence as you become an independent sailor, refining boat handling, wind awareness and safety skills including capsize recovery.
RYA Level 3 Better Sailing - Advance your skills with more confidence and technique, using elements from RYA advanced modules and gaining valuable experience on the water.
Duration: Five half days or two full days
Time: Half days - Monday to Friday from 10:00 - 13:00 or 14:00 - 17:00, Full days - 10:00 - 17:00
Price: £195 members, £250 non-members
Included: Boat, wetsuit, buoyancy aid hire, logbook, and certificate (on successful completion)

Adult Improvers Club
After you've completed a course (or if you've sailed before and just want to get out on the water more), we run relaxed improver sessions for club members.
These sessions are:
- Supervised by an instructor
- Designed to build confidence and sailing experience
- Scheduled by the group via WhatsApp
- 2 hours long
- £20 for members (join the club here)
