Cruising

For those whose interest in sailing and/or motorboating is of the cruising side as opposed to racing you will be interested maybe in joining some informal, fun and not too challenging short cruises in company East and West from Fowey. Generally just one night away over a weekend and maybe longer if there is interest. There are plans to 'follow' the coastal races and these dates are given on the Fowey Sailing calendar. Other dates may be proposed - likely that these will happen at relatively short notice when weather windows open.

There is an organisation established under the banner of Fowey Social Cruising and there is a website here
Whilst Fowey Social Cruising is hosted under the Royal Fowey Yacht Club website the activities are open to all comers - members of Fowey Gallants Sailing Club are most welcome to join any of the events.
