Bar Update 23rd July onwards...
Published 2:18pm on 16 Jul 2021
Aswe are all too aware, covid cases are still very much on the rise. Our main priority is to protect both staff and members alike and to continue to make Gallants a safe place to visit, so to that end the committee has decided that the club will not be fully easing restrictions and the following procedures will be effective from Friday 23rd July.
We will stay with the Members, their guests and visiting sailors only policy.
We will still be displaying the QR code but its not compulsory for members to sign in. Visiting sailors are required to sign the visitors book.
Hand sanitising stations will remain in place and we will encourage Hands, Face, Space.
Face masks optional, Staff will continue to wear them.
TABLE SERVICE ONLY will continue (we like it and so do the majority of our customers). You are free to move around and socialise with others but we prefer if youre inside that youre seated please.
Table bookings still advisable.
Please respect the committee decision and please dont feel youre exempt from any of the above procedures. Self isolation procedures remain in place until mid August (Regatta Week)so its important that we do everything we can to keep the staff safe which will enable us to stay open.
