DESCRIPTION:A VHF Marine Radio, whether handheld or fixed, facilitates 
 communication with coast stations, port/harbour authorities, and other 
 vessels. This mode of communication is a crucial aspect of safety equip
 ment, and it's essential to grasp the correct procedures.The RYA VHF Ma
 rine Radio Course consists of one day of instruction, including 2-3 hou
 rs of pre-course reading. Towards the end of the day, there will be an 
 examination overseen by an external moderator. Please note that this is
  a full day starting at 8:30 am and potentially concluding at 7:00 pm, 
 with only a 30-minute lunch break and a couple of short comfort breaks.
  It's advisable to bring a packed lunch.The majority of the day is dedi
 cated to training on VHF radios and acquiring essential information. Th
 ere will be a couple of coffee breaks and a lunch break, taking us to a
 pproximately 4:30 pm - 5:00 pm. After a separate moderator and assessor
  will give you a 25-question multiple-choice exam, followed by a practi
 cal emergency procedure exercise on the VHF radio. The day is expected 
 to conclude between approximately 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm.Please remember a p
 assport photo or yourself for the certificate.Please add the RYA exam f
 ee to your booking before checkout if you want to take the exam at the 
 end of the course.Please add the RYA publication G22 to your basket if 
 you wish to buy this as well. You will receive publication G31 as part
