Sailing Events 2008

A number of special events take place throughout the year:

Fowey Classics
Held from the 5th - 7th August, the programme includes both sailing and social activities.

Fowey Royal Regatta Week
17th to 23rd August 2008

The week’s races are as follows:

Sunday RFYC and FGSC Channel Race for Cruisers PYS Fowey to Flushing.

Monday RFYC and FGSC Channel Race for Cruisers PYS Falmouth to Fowey.

Tuesday - Friday:
Tuesday to Thursday “round the buoys” races for Cruisers and Dayboats (morning only).
Friday Lloyds Bank Cup for Cruisers PYS and 6 Metres – Day Race.

Dinghies, Troys, Ajaxes and Sunbeams – Races morning and afternoon.
Falmouth Workboats - Races morning only

Saturday Morning - Childrens Race.
